PC3 "problem"

Hi Chaps,

I have recently fitted a PC3 with 02 eliminators to my UK 08 Superduke, the bike is totally standard apart from removing the 2nd/3rd gear restrictor thingy.

I uploaded the 925-501 map to the PC3 from the dynojet site, this is for a standard bike, standard tune, standard exhaust etc it says its an advanced map.

The problem i have is that now the bike stutters at high throttle openings, typically in 2nd 3rd gears. so whilst the bike runs better generally its a nuisance on the track etc.

Any ideas? anyone have a better map?

hi brokenlegg, could you take it to riders of bridgewater and stick it on theyre dyno, i think you can pay for the service but might be wrong but at least it will tell you exactly wot it's doing
we ought to try and catch up as i'm only up the road from you and don't see ANY other dukes!

Check the big square plug that joins the PC loom to the injector loom.

Hi, I have an 08 model also with a PCIII. With the original exhaust and the o2 sensor plugs in they run overly rich on the 501 and the 0 map (all the settings in pciii on 0).
I say your cat is already clogged up. Ditch the exhaust or take to a dyno to get the map sorted.
To give you an example at 3000 rpm 2% trottle my pciii map is now -10 this just to tell you how rich it was. The o2 sensor plugs set the fuel map fixed in low rpm low trottle depending on the resistor in them. Somehow on the 08 model this is very rich.
