Plans are to use these front mounting points on the subframe

Then these at the rear

Then these curves to line it up for the Ventura rack and not interfere with the Acro's

Looks good, you are going about it in a proper fashion.

I hope you post pics of the finished product.

Nearly there. Took it for a 270 k run without a rack (which would lock it in tighter) and it didn't touch the Acro's or the rear tail.
Bloody female sockets are a poofteenth too tight so need to expand them then try it with the rack and a pack with a load.

Just need the How to for the mega screen and my neck might be able to survive some repectable touring duties.

Did 2830ks in four days up to the back of Brisbane and back.
Rack didn't move a bit with reinforcing and that included a 20k horror stretch of dirt heading up towards Tabulam on the Bruxner Highway.

I now know why Brisbane doesn't have a decent race track. They don't need one because they have the road from Rathdowney to Woodenbong.

The Lions road sucks

Some other great roads that our Brisie tour guide took us on too.

Going to do it again next year.

Impressive work. I'm no particular fan of the actual tail pack, but I'm very impressed that you've made it work without any damage to the bike and that it worked well.

Goodonya!
