Side stand mod

Here you go, gives you an idea of what 'can' be done. Next plan during the winter is grab a mate to ally weld something, ideally a nut theat I can then attach a threaded bar to - that way it can removed easily if the next guy doesnt like it, or 'if' I discover a ground clearance problem at a track day, although I doubt it looking at it.

However, it also look a little ugly (sorry) and ground clearance also seems to be a problem. ? Maybe a smaller and more upward "thing" would be better.

Hey, I know it's ugly dont't apologise I said it before you but it's a prototype to see me through a few months until the finished version. Ally welding doesn't seem to be to common or cheap, but I have a few people to ask later in the year.

for one it doesnt need to be as long as it is, and the final version will go the slightly higher up the stand and centered which will help ground clearance a lot. I knocked this up in about 15mins late the other night in the dark so I can be forgiven

Ground clearance is my reason for going down the nut & threaded bar route for TD's, on the road it's really not gonna be a problem.

I'd rather that ugly little thing than the PITA that it is without it I'm sure it might help someone, there's always a solution
