Hi
New to the forum, recently purchaced a 2010 superduke R,great bike really pleased with it,but i do like modifying my bikes. All the listed mods are well worth having a go at,i`m really pleased with mine, and has not had any negative affect on the bike, only benefits.
Initially fitted a bmc air filter, made little difference,it was a fit and forget mod.
After reading various threads,ie dna, motohooligan air box fitment, worthwhile, but very dear,i decided to fit 2 individual K&N cone filters, one on each air intake.
The work involved in this,is in my opinion was worth all the hours, removed original air box, throttle bodies, tps, wiring ets,you will need to turn off the tps and sas, with tune ecu software.
Where the sas connects to each of the cylinder heads, you fit blanking plates to the ports, available on the net.
To fit the moto hooligan or dna you will pay £400 upwards,i`ve done mine for £100,2 filters,2 sas blanking plates
Also removed 2nd and 3rd gear restrictor, disconnected the o2 sensors, also removed the secondary butterflies, all these things where placed on the bike to EU noise regs, and emission laws.
Again all turned off in tune ecu software.
I`ve a full aprovic exhaust to compliment the modifications, had it dyno`d to make sure not running to weak ,after 2 hours tweaking, throwing out over 140 break at back wheel.
So to recap, you will need the tune ecu software, a lead to connect to your wiring loom of the bike, 5 hours of your time,£100 quid for the filters, this is all achievable.
Bike runs great, just need to enjoy it.
Hope you will to
Cheers
