tune ecu not connecting

decided to give tune ecu a try, bought the cable from online.... goes from usb to obd2- then back to the 6 pin connector.
i downloaded the driver and it installed, but it will not connect to the ecu at all..... any tips or ideas would help alot.

And just like I said there, just saying it doesn't work doesn't make it very easy for us to troubleshoot your problem
