#2Don't think so. If before you start the VAG-ware, does your computer recognize the cable when its plugged in? An indicator that the driver is present, and that the cable is ready to use.
If the cable is recognized by the computer (driver present), you should be able to connect the cable and use TuneECU. VAG-ware shouldn't be needed.

#4You dont need the VAG software, all the drivers you need are on the TuneECU website

#5I find it funny that people are going to play with stuff that potentially can brick the ECU but don't read the manual first....
Clearly states DON'T INSTALL THE OBII VAG SOFTWARE!!!!!
Dude read it first all info is on the tuneecu site and heaps more on here!
