Well where do I start ? Compared to 04 ZX10R , don't have to sweep corners. Just point and shoot !!! Holy crap fun tourque out of the corners. But what the hell is up with that lack of feel front Dunlop 208. Any sudgestions on good tyre for this bike for track days sport riding and light touring?

Any help would be great . I liked my pilot powers on my ZX10R. Great grip and long life, but I don't know about them on the Duke.

Good to hear you had a great day. SD is awesome round short tracks.

Metzler Sportec M1s are really great on track and seem to suit the SD. There is a new one, M5 (?), that maybe offers a bit of both track and longevity characteristics.

Check out this current thread.

I've just fitted a pair of Metzeler Sportec M5's and they're bloody great! Difficult to explain but at mid lean these are the most stable tyes i've ridden on.

According to the tyre guy he went to Portimao and had a great day riding in the wet! Best tyre short of full race wets he said!

I've got a set of Metzeler Rennsport RS1/RS2 for serious track fun ( can't afford racetecs yet! )

Get them!
