I'll keep an eye on this one. Though I'm not sure my SD will pass the noise test, but I'm sure I can make some temporary baffles that I can leave on the racing line when on track!

All depends on the weather and temp. so we'll see nearer the time.

Just taken a look at the long range forecast for Bedford. Looks like could be around the 10-11c mark and dry. If that holds then I will book it a few days before.

If you've got a sporty road tyre like a diablo corsa 111 they will work better than outright race tyres in these very low temps.

I reckon this time of year at Bedford that he could just turn up on the day and get tested before parting with any cash, doesn't help if you guys need to stay over of course as can't get that money back but might be something to think about.

I think that's what Superdan did last time, He was 103 but they let him on after a session or so as they were not busy at all.

Only thing is though from other threads I've read I think It's them friggin council trackside monitors that have really had it in for the 8, especially if they're on the right hand side as the 8 exhaust comes out that side.

Perhaps if he talked to them nicely they'd agree a refund if first lap out they decide it's affecting the monitors too much.

In a way, perhaps that's another reason why KTM have brought out the new twin upswept akras for the 8, it certainly aint for looks.

Monty, When I took my RC8 to Bedford I was fairly close to the limit on a standard exhaust and they warned me to be careful around the monitors.

Oh by the way +1 for next friday..........

You're thinking about it the wrong way, you see it's actually going to save you money in the long run, cause if you do this one now for £75, it'll save you spending £145 in a month or so time when the prices go up and the withdrawal symptoms get too much, and before you know it you'll have done two at the higher price and the EXC will be getting further away and you'll be wishing you'd done the cheaper one and kept the wolf at bay that little longer.

Remember, Prevention is better than cure, get in there first while you still have control before the thirst takes over.

Id luv 2 say i was a definate but work is hectic this month (afta a very quiet january) but i really wanna do it as i havnt done Bedford yet!!!

I dont mind cold and i dont mind wet but its fookin snowing here again now!!!
