#5Went to Cadwell this Wednesday. Drove up from Somerset on Tuesday night and stayed in Lincoln, bloody hell its a long way!
Got to Cadwell at 7.30 Wednesday, that place is amazing! MSV really look after their circuits better than anyone. Weather was perfect.
Focused events were unusually really organised and we managed to get out on sighting laps at 9am. I knew it was gonna be fun when the front wheel came up over the mountain going really slow in the novice group.
First session out and we realised that unless we could get out at the front of our group it was gonna be really hard work all day, Some of the guys were so slow its untrue.
Following sessions and we got out in the first 4 bikes every time after, this made all the difference. Couldn't believe how fast we were lapping people. The whole day was nuts, I didn't think i'd have the balls to wheelie over the mountain but managed a few really controlled ones in front of the photographer.
Had some really great races with a couple of new R6's, it was great watching them try to get away and then stuffing it up the inside down the gooseneck!
It was only the last session that I really felt I knew the track and I do feel I can go faster. However in the Novice group the only guys that overtook were the 2 R6's.
After Pembrey we kinda knew it was time to move up to Inters but thought that Cadwell wasn't the place to do it. I sort of wish we had moved so that we didn't have to trip over so many random slow guys.
That was my 10th Trackday and I feel now's the time to move to Inters.
At Cadwell there was a Hornet owners club group there and they suggested it was right to advance now, What do you think? When do you know its right? Is it that much faster?
I really want to join you lot on your summer Cadwell meet, just not sure I can do it yet

Final picture features my mate on his Gixxer 600, trying to keep up!
I know the wheelies aren't as big as Ash's but not bad for a relative beginner!
