Hey I have a memory problem ok Warmer is repairable, it just pulled the live and neutral wires out of the connectors in the warmer, will get it sorted over the weekend.
Was a brilliant day as always. Had a giggle out on track with Ronin and Reaper, Ginge volunteered for pit bitch duties again, I think he secretly likes it you know Was in fact the camera man for the day, the official guy could learn a lot from the angles he finds.
Day didn't get off to a good start. Went up to 100% suspension as I have just fitted the SDR forks. Basically there is very little rebound damping in them. Even on 1 click its not enough They are coming out and heading to MCT. Annoying but shit happens. Still managed to have a fab day and broke into the 1.44s so happy with that
There were a fair few BSB boys there, on the whole they were good as gold but there was one dude in a pink helmet who was a fooking prick Within 30 mins there were several people in the paddock very unhappy with his passes. Standing people up in corners was his fav. He did me through Hall Bends about an hour in Proper stood me up when 30 ft later he could have easily passed me at the Hairpin. First time I've had to complain about a quick and obviously talented rider. He really didnt give a flying fook about anyone else out there though. There were a couple a blokes wanting to chin him He seemed to chill out after the bollocking. At least I didn't see him stand anyone up again.
We had some great track time right up to 3.30 when it fooking chucked it down. Only downer was someone decided it was Crashfest 2012 MkII - now with added crash! I'll leave him to fill you all in but safe to say he did it with style 15 mins after the MSV van pulled up to drop off Super Duke cargo the rain came so we all packed up and headed off. Great day apart from the off, at least rider and bike are ok, they really do crash well you know
Edit: he posted while I was typing that. Looks fooking scary on the vid. I had literally just gone up the inside of him a spit second before he binned it. As I came round Mansfield 40 secs later I saw Dan walking around at the bottom of Coppice and thought I'd stood him up or something and it had gone wrong. Spent the next 10 mins in the pits feeling guilty as fook thinking I'd trashed his bike. Was a very relieved man when I heard the words "false neutral" The guy we had just both overtaken out of Barn said it was most impressive. At one point Ronin's bike was sliding along the tarmac at around a ton and he was sat on it's side surfing it before they parted company Just glad both he and bike are ok. A couple of pics of the wounded beast. it must have slid into the grass at speed to force the turf into the wheel rim like that. Both tyres were like that.
