Cadwell Park upgrades

Well everybody moand about the lack of facilities/garages/power etc, well your prayers might just be answered -

How much will the price of TDs go up by though?

You never know: It might be a good thing; after all Cadwell does need an update.
From the article it looks as though its in the very early stages so it could be years before its completed.
The only comparison of recent times I can think of is Snetterton; the price of trackdays hasn't gone up that much there has it?
Still looks like trackdays there aren't in the same ball park as Oulton or worse still Brands.
I'd have thought the remoteness, as with Snett, will keep prices down to a dull roar, don't you?

Personally I like the fact that the track is quiet narrow. Keeps things interesting. New pit area would be brilliant and it would be good to see better facilities. Hot showers would be a massive bonus, rather than the current freezing to luke warm to freezing cycle that they go through now.

Dave, snett prices haven't gone up much because the circuit can now accomodate a LOT more riders.

I know on one FE date there wasn't enough garage space!

This has been blurting out on the radio all day long,i'm in favour of a revamp of the pitts and grandstands but not for the widening of the track. I think it will spoil it for bikers,no doubt it makes sense financially to get more car racing at the venue but i wont be watching it,the radio keeps mentioning they are looking at extending the track lenght also,fingers crossed they dont fook it all up.

Sounds great BUT we all know what locals have to say about the noise, you can hear the vtwins at cadders 5 miles away at my folks.... I love it
