I do have van space if someone wants a lift ?
.....A lot of bikes from here will be enjoying a road trip down through Spain

Anyone else?
Well what a good couple of days.
Went out on Monday, first time at Cadwell in over a year and first time riding the bike since May. Soon got up to a speed I was happy with and continued to improve all day.

Last session of the day, had a real blast with the instructors which lead to a conversation a bit like this...

"that thing of yours (superduke), It's just so quick out of the corners"

" well in that case you should hire more instructors on superdukes"

"If you fancy having a go at instructing, let us know when your available"

Was also nice to see Paul81 again and meet his mate D Bennet?

Got some footage to put up at some stage

Day 2 was a bit different, lot faster guys turned up but there was only about 14 in our group.
All was going well and I was getting even quicker than on monday. Been playing around with different Go Pro mounts, some worked but some didn't.
About session 3 as I was coming up to Park corner I got a few spots of rain on my visor, same at gooseneck. I was running Metzlers and was told they were rubbish in the wet, but as it was far from wet I decided to stay out on circuit. Then turning right at the bottom of the mountain the back of the bike let go, I was on my arse so fast I didn't have time to think.
Got it back to the pits to find a bent rear brake lever to be the worst of it, or so I thought..... bent the lever back then realised the actuator arm was also bent. I managed to make that workable and got out for the next session. Stuck with the metzlers as the "rain" never materialised

Continued the rest of my day until I noticed oil leaking from the cylinder base gasket on the rear cylinder:( decided to to call it a day as was only one session left.

All in all a good couple of days at Cadwell. Footage to follow....... one day
that's right david my cousin, hadn't arranged to meet there he was just hanging around in the cafe hoping to see someone he knew with a van tp put his kit in . awesome day was monday, my first dry cadwell , that is me firmly moved into inters now, no more sandbagging in the novice group. the minitwin ran very well and helped my times on the sd too. look forward to more of the same next year.

jodi do you remember who the photographer was?

They wanted Superdan as a instructor, 2 crashes in a day clearly indicates he's the in form man!

Stay Focused.
Photo's were by trackside image

her's me crashing at the mountain

how did that happen jody ?
As I approached park corner there were a few spots of rain on my visor, a few more at Mansfield, I decided to stay out as it wasn't "raining" but at the bottom of the mountain I lost the back end. I've been told metzlers are crap in the wet so I only use them when it's dry, I guess maybe there had been more than "a few spots" of rain at that point in the track.

Fortunately its a very low speed corner so both the bike and I were back out for the next session.
