Just booked this with FE. Weather report is good and only 3 groups on the day, all for the princely sum of £105, bargain!
Bit to far for me T to take the bike out for a shakedown to find out something up, looking at doing Cadwell next Sunday 16th or Monday 17th if weather looks ok, be a last minute booking if it looks warm(ish) or may juts turn up on the day if its full.

You renting a van, or want to borrow my new trailer?
New trailer Superdan?

….. this one got a roof?!
Haha, no just an Erde single bike trailer never got round to buying a van or a box trailer

Just booked the Sunday at Cadwell for a shakedown on Sunday 16th

Hmmm, I'm in North Yorkshire at the moment and while the weather has been unseasonably warm the last two weeks I would think it'd be a big gamble for a track day at Donnington Park in mid March. I went to a BSB race there a few years ago in early April and was greeted with snow!

Hope you guys get good weather!
I've just driven to Barnard Castle and back. Sunny skies when I left the south, cold and grey when I got to the north. Back to blue skies and unseasonable warmth now though.

I'm at Snetterton on the 16th. Hoping this weather hangs around as I'm test riding a 05 Blade race bike.

I did not bring riding gear. Does that rental place provide helemt, leathers, etc? I can fit a track day in on a Sunday if they can provide the gear.
Nah none of that comes with the bike.
What size are you dude. I have a spare set of leathers and gloves. It's a RST one piece size 42Uk 52 Euro. I'm 6'1" and slim-ish and they are a good fit. I also have my old Icon helmet, looks a bit tatty as it had a matt coating that didnt age well, never been dropped though. Size XL. Even have my old Sidi boots size US 11. You're welcome to borrow any of it.
I wear a Euro 62 (maybe a 60) and US 13 boot. Appreciate the offer. I'm 6'1" and not so slimish.

Hi all, had a great time today at Donington. We missed two sessions in the morning due to a late start because of the fog but then the sun came out and it was glorious for the rest of the day. Loads of red flags today but that was mainly in the fast group. This was my first time out on my 2001 Aprilia RSV Millie track bike and it is a bloody dinasour
God I miss the SDR

The only really good thing to say about today was that I managed to keep it shiny side up but I will definitely be looking around for something better
Good work keeping it upright dude. People do seem to love chucking it early in the year

I'm trying out a 05 Blade on Sunday at Snett. Really hoping I gel with it.

I can just see Kev getting angry
God I hate FE Uk days Never again!
I can't really see the problem. If people are throwing it in the shrubbery reckless abandon, why shouldn't the TDO tell them to slow their roll?

If you're one of the blokes spending most of the day sitting in pit lane because of all the red flags it's no bad thing.

Seems like every year and especially at Donington that everyone seems to be throwing their bikes into the gravel! What is it about FE and Donington that causes it?!

Doesn't seem to be a major problem for other operators
TBH this early in the year people seem to love chucking it. 2 of the days I've done so far for NL have had lots throwing it down the road in the morning. With MSV now red flagging a session if anyone parts company with their bike anywhere they could be a danger, which includes runoffs even if it's 15m or more off the track, it means lots of red flags.

It will be all that plane fuel deposited on the track everyday! Not ridden it in the wet yet but it's meant to be lethal!
