Well spotted.

I like Donnington, very tempted. Very!

Will check diary at the office tomorrow and if free I will probably book. First SD track day and first on anything for a while...
I'd do this but don't have any intension of running Pirelli tyres.

Not used them since the days of Phantoms in the 1980's.

Good deal though if you have them fitted.

Massive thanks to Cerec1!

We are booked in Inters/Advanced on our RC8's, too much of a bargain to miss. Total luck that my 8 came with Supercorsas fitted!

After my spill I need to get my Mojo back and for £25 you can't go wrong. Be good to see you there Fuel and Tripod (+Tom?)

Counting the days again

Oh can I just congratulate Nigel for spelling Donington correctly too! ITS NOT BLOODY DONNINGTON
I have no idea if I will be there, but I'm booked.

Could not resist a bargain.

I am SO moneysupermarket.com!

Funny that, I'm not very experienced at donny, been there once in the last 10 years but I had a chat about it at cadders with the skinny guy, Tripod Dave I think.

We both agreed that it's one circuit where the superduke really feels like it doesn't have enough go!!!!!!!

Would racetec be a pass?? Aren't they the same company now?

Yes it was Dave, the educated Brummie lad. He was wearing a black top - it's a really slimming colour!

I'm booked in the faster group!!

First SD track day and first on anything for quite a while.

Anybody coming up the M40 passed J11 with a van or spare trailer place? I'm just off the M40 and would be happy to chip in for the fuel etc. I always used to ride to and from my track days but fancy taking it easy this time if a lift is available.

Bloody hell, I wonder if I can still fit into the race suit??
That's a bargain

I was thinking the same as Klincky, Metzeler are owned by Pirelli and therefore all Metzeler tyres are Pirelli tyres by default

Perhaps I should stick the angels back on
Not only is Ducati Pete a funny man he is my new best mate!
If there's a call for it I can do food.
How about an after trackday bbq in the carpark?

It might have been obvious but I called Pirelli. They will be there on the day doing deals on new tyres so bargains may be found! They will have one of there prefered dealers on site doing the fitting as they can't deal directly with the public. Good news for me as my rear Super Corsa will be on it's last legs.

There is a rumour floating round that the day is now 4 groups - anybody confirm?
If it helps anyone....I have a set of Diablos, used but with good tread left on em. I will let em go very cheap. Very.

And for £25 if I don't get my moneys worth there will be hell to pay

I'm still up for chipping in for fuel costs etc if anybody is passing J11 of the M40 on the way and has trailer / van space. Will ride to and from if needed but the lazy option is not without its attractions

Bump for a new convert from Nottingham. What's the surface like in the wet guys? Not a pretty forecast at the mo!

Ice speedway riders go to Donny in the wet for extreme training!
If it's wet on the day I will be going to the office not the track!

Don't trust the forecast much at this distance. wake up, look out the window and decide. Thats my plan anyway.
Got to admit I'm worried about the weather

It will be fine, it will be fine, it will be fine........

Met office five day forecast now showing an improving trend from Wed with Sunshine on Thursday. A way to go yet but it is looking a little better
Met office link:
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ ... ather.html
Showing dry at the moment but this is England and it could be anything.
Donington in the damp is nothing short of treacherous. Wet or damp stay off the curbs as they have less grip than the grass.
If its wet just take it easy or bring wets but still stay off the curbs.
Thank you for your kind offer Pete but i shall no longer be in a position to buy your ticket should you not attend!

1 of the girls in my office has decided she moving house on thursday & friday so that means Wifey has to cover her in the office meaning i get the school run and our baby girl for the day.

So near, yet so far

Anybody who wishs to higher a set of full wets on wheels for the day, i am 30 mins for Donington and will only cost you £1000 delivered and collected

Like Ginge said though, who cares if its wet, for £25 just get out there and ride and get some rain riding practice in
I've got wets but there Michelin. I can't see them rechecking your tyres once they've done an intial check at the beginning.

BTW there's 4 groups and no garages, as the BSB boys will be setting up in the afternoon, so i am now trying to beg/borrow/steal a genny for the warmers/kettle

http://www.125ccsportsbikes.com/forums/ ... &p=1308523
I have spoken to club MSV and we won't be using the pit lane garages but will be using the exhibition center instead so we will still be under cover and there will be power.
I'm not sure if these things are transferable but if they are and anybody wants it my ticket is now available so do shout.

My ex (we were never married) who still lives in my house two years after splitting up has just informed me that her new boyfriend who is of course lovely and a genius will be taking over but I may still be able to see my three year old son (not the nine year old that I brought up for four years because apparently he has nothing to do with me any more) if I don't annoy her too much. So, as you can imagine I'm feeling a bit blue and have bigger fish to fry at the moment.

My immediate future consists of selling everything I own to pay a layer to make the argument that children need their fathers and then try not to scream as the presumption in favour of the woman means that I will almost certainly lose anyway. Sometimes life really does suck and for me this is one such time.

I hope you all have a great time and if anybody wants the ticket let me know and I will send you what MSV sent me.
Thats shit Shadowman, sorry to hear that.

I have been completely screwed by an ex wife in the past and know how you feel. I wish I knew someone who could take the ticket off your hands....

If you change your mind it would be good to meet you, don't let the fookers bring you down.

Well Dave, Mike, Marc, Ravi (my brother) and myself all had an excellent day at Donington yesterday. Weather was dry and warm all day, the sun even came out in the afternoon. I had a few problems with noise, tested fine without baffles so went out without them........... black flagged. Put them in went out again, black flagged again. Had a chat to one the marshall's who advised me not to use my quickshifter on the start/finsih straight as it was causing a backfire, and also to drop the rev's as i went pass the sound meter, I did and no further problems. A very well organised day as well, and not too busy either, plenty of space out on track. If only they all cost £25
anyone know if there was anyone taking photos on the day??
Club msv photography. Were you there Chris?
Glad you had a good time guys.
Any videos to come fellas?
Mark and Mike had there cam's on, and we were all in same group so there should be some footage of all of us! You missed a good day Pete!
Yes. I had to be at Judo last night and I couldn't do both yesterday.
