Booked this 1 with www.focusedevents.com for my 1st 20twelve trackday, hoping i can nip into Inters as it will be the bikes 1st outing since being completley rebuilt plus i havnt so much as swung a leg over a bike since last years crashfest at Cdwell (september?)

Here hoping the weather picks up Dry i can do, soaking wet i can do - but snow? maybe not
Well?

Stay sunny side up?

Mods any good?

Mojo back?

After the weather looking like it was going to be a shocker it turned out nice most of the day down my way. Hope you had a good one m8.
Did a huge write up the good ol SD.net deleted it

2 wet sessions - great fun

4 dry sessions - reasonable fun, still not confident on the bike at all due to lack of riding

starting raining again so pack up and went home, rain has now continued all night and this morning (i only live 35mins from Donny)

FE did a good job of keeping the day moving, only 4 stopages total over the 3 groups. Amazing how chilled out the days are when Kevs now there

Mojo is FAR from returning, need ALOT more time on the bike, lap times were shite but was good to be back on the bike.

Lesson from the day, dont expect to do 6 trackdays total (the only time i ever ride) in the last 2 years then have 7 months off the bike and expect to happy with your riding abilities

Looking back at the GoPro footage i can see where all my speed has gone (ive actually lost 15 seconds a lap around Donny from my best times). Throttling off way too early, breaking far too early, not running enough speed on corner entry which is obviously slowing mid corner speed. The only thing im kinda happy with is corner exit and picking the bike up and getting on the throttle.

Oh well, onto Silverstone next Sunday and looks like it could be another wet day.
Pesky rain

Well you have enough TD's coming up to get back up to speed dude

Just read this on TDR forum.

"Had a fantastic day, even though it rained early on, got there early in garage 21/22 and set about changing the wheels over on a recent purchase black 1992 zxr750, only just got the thing going as well.
first 2 sessions in inters group on a bike i had never ridden before in the wet, loved it !! in fact i like riding in the rain now.
it then dried out so out came the road bike n set about destroying a set of tyres, u may of seen a motorsports colours s1000rr that pops n bangs n sounds the nuts !!
saw mrsJ out in inters on her gsxr and am sure she was shadowing another lady rider on a ktm ??? both quick !!
There was 8 of us in garage 8 and unfortunatly one came off down craner in the morning sessions, think he is ok though not sure on the bike !!"

Made me laugh, the guy obviously saw your pink frame....
