As KTM is not offering a different set of springs for the sdk1290, I'm wondering what club riders or track dayers are doing to improve the front suspension feeling. After my first track day I found the forks a bit soft, gotta say I'm quite a heavyweight (95kg. plus the riding gear..), but it's just the bit I need to trust, to lean the bike with all the confidence. What do you guys with the same issue have come with?
Has anyone improved the front suspension? (sdk1290)

#2Head to any decent suspension shop and give them this information:
Fork springs are the same as 07-08 R1, spring seats will need to be machined a little to get it to seat right, most KTM's are like that.
Rear spring is 700mm free length with a 225mm ID

#3Thanks Don, priceless info! I already speak to my local WP dealer and he offered me to revalvulate (is that even a verb? changing the oil pass holes) the forks. I'll talk to them again.
