#3Rossi has signed a 2 year deal with Yamaha again so you have to think they've got something planned. I can't imagine Vale is enjoying being thrapped by Stoner week in week out.
HAving the traction control working isn't necessarily 'getting it wrong' in fact you could argue it's getting it exactly RIGHT... as the bike is designed to be ridden bouncing off the limiter... (the limiter in this case being the traction control cutting in) So he's actually riding it exactly RIGHT for the design of the bike...

#4Even when Rossi was giving it too much and sideways rivals like Capirossi,Gibenau and Biaggi were able to steal the win. Now the traction control sorts these issues out so that Ducati dont need Capirossi or Melandri or Hayden to ride the bike Any of the PG Tips monkeys wil do just nail the throttle no matter what.

#5Yeah, the traction control issue ... I've read that Stoner is the perfect tc rider, because he lets it do it's job. Stoner is pretty much 100% trusting in the software (he did a different kind of 'flying' in 2006 on a 'less than perfect tc' honda), where Melandri feathers the throttle trying to feel for grip; this apparently confuses the TC and upsets the bike.
Ban the bloody TC and then lets see... I agree with Luke, used to watch them, tape them, and watch them again. Now? Not so bothered...

#6i have to admit, i like the guy more every time i see him ride.
He crashes, comes straight back with a fastest lap
Loses the front, fastest lap
Loses the back, ok, lets get another one.
Lap after lap after lap quicker by nearly a second.....
He's smiling a lot too

#7I like the guy too, I just don't like runaway victories, by anyone. Plus, there's always the question about his overall ability. I'm not saying he isn't brilliant, cos he clearly is, I just wish he could prove it without TC...

#13Everybody has thier time, rossi had his time and its now Stoners time! electronics or no elctronics, Stoner has got balls, he crashes and gets back on then goes faster, thats part of what makes a champion!
I didnt like Stoner at first cuz i didnt feel he had the personality of a champion, Rossi had the personality and obviously enjoyed winning, but now Stoner is coming into his own and enjoying it also!!

#15Amazing race, Rossi was spectacular. Stoner was a sore loser, it's racing FFS stop whining about a bit of contact.

And today he had a bike that was good enough to let him fight one-on-one with stoner.
And proved that he can still push very fast times ( over 25 secs to the 3rd!!! )and push other's to make mistakes and win memorable races.
Go ROSSI!!!
Congrats also to stoner ( only one able to make rossi sweat) and vermullen ( for bringing susuki to the podium )
And today he had a bike that was good enough to let him fight one-on-one with stoner.
