I will be there unless they cancel it.

So 50/50 chance then.

The weather is looking slightly better. If it is dry it will still be bloody cold.
Been speaking to my mate today and Pete who owns the bike we're using for the no budget cup isn't going to be able to make this one but has kindly offered to lend us his bike and van for the day so we can just load Richards track bike in and drive up in the van.

So looks like I will leave the superduke at home this time round.

If it rains I'll get to try out wets too which won't be a bad thing to have done if it rains on race day.

I knew the weather was marginal. I am fairly eager to ride soon though - mid Nov for half a soaking day at Brands was my last - hardly covered myself in glory that day.

Plus, I've sorted the bike after last Aprils mega crash. Back end now straight, Ms Fernandez's gift CF rad shrouds fitted (with matt black logos) and my evil clown graphics applied - which TBH nearly looks as good as the std orange panels did.

I've got another set of those nice black levers to go on too. I will wait to fit the CF race mask till I'm confident my misfire has gone.

I have Bank holiday Sun and Mon at Cadwell coming up! (Thread here with perfect title!)

Anyway, best of luck to TJ - I'd have liked to think I could have helped him but after that big crash in the wet last year I'm very cautous on wets.
Yeah, shame you won't be able to make it Pete, I'm sure you'd have been able to give me good advice crash or no crash.

Since I stopped riding bikes in all weathers, a few years ago now, my wet confidence is nowhere near what it used to be let alone trying to go fast round a wet track, I've heard how good wets are supposed to be but I still have to get my head to believe it.

Still 10 days to go though so things can still change for the better.

looks like you hit a dip mate and the front decompressed and that was that!!!
I couldn't really see a dip as such in the video though but I might be blind for looking, the track is pretty multicoloured coming into their and I've replayed that bit over and over again trying to figure it out, it's usually as you go over the crest that the suspension unloads on that corner.
