#14Max, Sete, Loris even down to West and KRjr they are all awesome riders. Part of the appeal for me is that Rossi has something extra. He has taken on and beaten all comers. One of the biggest weapons he uses for that is, as you say, he knows when to get rough, when to throw the toys out, when to act nasty and when to act friendly.
Just like Ali hit and ran against Liston and Frazier but mixed it up with Foreman - no one expected it but it gave him the victory. Maybe it was a fix, the second Liston victory certainly looked like one. But those events make history.
Back to bike racing and just like they said on Eurosport today Rossi knows how to write the script. 68 wins to equal Ago in Italy. Some wins are worth double, If Rossi wins another this year - will anyone even remember if Stoner wins the other 4?
Maybe I am not a true fan but I wouldnt be watching Moto GP this year if Rossi wasnt in it. I would still watch 125's and 250's but why bother to watch Stoner or Pedrosa run away from the front and never be challenged? I could get the result from the Moto GP website and spend the remaining time on that whipped arse website you mentioned
