As I understand it's the same score as Oulton last month, in 2012 Easy track will put on 3 TD's as freebies for those of us that are entitled to one. Simply choose which one you want when dates are announced (early next year at a guess) and you're away !!!

Myself Fuel and Skip are all entitled to one free day and after this I'll be entitled to 2 (greedy, me??? well yeah !! )

Kev from Projex and I are thinking of doing this: he's trying to persuade me to bring the GTR and go in the inters.
I'll look at the weather forecast this weekend and make a decision I think.
The GTR will be an absolute hoot or an ocean going, fur lines, gold plated disaster.
I will, of course, leave the panniers on.

Smart move is to clear off my repair bill and build a budget to have a great 2012 season. Oulton was the best trackday I'd been on with a bike yet.

Well that was rubbish

I suppose after 30 odd awesome trackdays I was due a crappy one, this was it

3 sessions in, just getting into it and some guy loses the back end on his R6 at shell oils, the bike slides across the track, hits my bike, sends me onto the grass and down I go. All looked OK with no real damage until the next session revealed a leaking exhaust which turned out to be the flange snapped clean off, couldn't bodge it so it was day over.

Did get a vid of the crash but looking back on it it does look like I could have easily avoided the R6, but it certainly didn't feel that way at the time !!

On the plus side waas nice to see Skip and Monty again and the mate that I dragged to his first TD enjoyed his day.

Gotta be honest I thought there was no way round the R6 but the vid does make it look do-able. I'm pretty sure the wobble from me as the R6 goes out of site is him hitting me ??

Defo looked avoidable dude you must try harder.....LOL

Fortunately we all didn't have a crap day and with Easy track allowing double session, I got 10 in during the day. Hats of to easy track for that one.
