Think I'll do the farce of a track that is Knockhill on the 24th if the weather looks ok then try and get one more in down south before the end of the year. I'll be in touch if there's a possibility of hitting a euro trip with Focused Events before next summer. I know RC8 dude was up for a jaunt, looks like it'd be a great few days.

Really like Oulton though so planning on doing a good few days down there next year. With Anglsey, Oulton and Cadwell all sitting across the middle belt and being about 4-5hours drive I'll prob spent next year toggling between those three and the odd knockhill day.

good to see Fuel again and meet skip

wet in the morning so I got to have my first proper go with wet tyres, I think I touched my knee to the floor but it was only once (if that).

Dry in the afternoon, and Easytrack let us all be in two groups, so I'd go out in advanced for 20 mins, come in and line straight up again and go out with inters group for 20 mins, suffice to say I was knackered by the end of the day (still feel it now).


I also got chatting to management who seem rather keen on helping US out price wise if we start booking there events. More on this to follow........

Yep was an ace day, knakered today though those 40 min sessions were wicked. Good to meet you and Kathrine again, thanks for lunch. Good to meet Skip as well. Jody you were flying round that in that session with Fatbloke!
Was my first time in the fast group, was in inters but had the choice to go in another group so we could have extra track time, gave into peer pressure from Jody and Skip and went in fast where i was promptly lapped by Jody

Think i ended up doing around 8 or 9 sessions in the end. Free track day next year has well, and i manged to blag 20 liters of super unleaded from the circuit petrol station for £20. Have to say how good Easytrack are as well, they make you feel valued as a customer

Exactly as Jody and Fuel have said ,a brilliant day, although the morning was wet ( i didnt go out) and was going to pack up,
the afternoon made up for it, Easytrack did an excellent job giving us fast and inters to go out in but really tiring,might look at
18th oct with them now £100 inc free trackday next year.
anyway was good to meet a couple of forum members and Catherine (Jodys pit bitch)

I'm tempted too, one last one before the bike goes into hibernation and the snowboard comes back out to play

Get the vids up Jody . Be good to see where you managed to skim some time off the lap. I had you at 1min 58-59's from your vid from last year. That's my target time so hoping to tag along behind you one day next season and see where I can improve.

Either that or tag onto Skip, but tried that at the last day on the out lap and he just buggered off from the get go with his hot tyres. Damn those tyre warmers!

One thing that really stands out to me compared to the last one is lines.

Your cutting loads of time compared to my day there by being so much more accurate. I noticed that i would string 2-3 good corners, get the braking late, good line, nice drive, then seem to celebrate it in my head and mess up the rest of em.

Whats the spec of the bike. Is it an ex battle bike, noticed the different rev counter position and no speedo. Are you still running the Pilot Powers in the dry?

I think Jodys is a battle edition bike,but he does run road tyres, just a talented rider.

Good stuff. Thats what i was wanting to hear. Means i'll just save myself £300 on Rennsports and warmers and get 3 trackdays worth of tracktime under my belt to get faster.

1.53's is well impressive on an SD. I'm sure from memory the MRO race guys were doing 1.45's.
