Weird, I read nothing about this being considered and just like that the 250cc 2t is gone.

Yeah, I heard it was mooted to happen when the 500's died, but then dropped off the radar. All of a sudden bam, 250's gone.

While I guess I'll find it interesting to see what they come up with, the day of the privateer in 250's is now also gone.
I would have preferred them going to 500's though, would be kind of fun to see 500's back
