Won't spoil it for anyone but what a race ,,,,,
I was here for the races. it was intense.
Yup. The weather was perfect and the racing was entertaining. The attendance was OK, but nothing like a MotoGP race. Great day.

A great weekend all around. I saw a few parked SD's and one on the way down 101 riding with an Adventure I camped with the kid and we ate, drank, and smoked everything I brought with three ice cubes left in the cooler. Qualifying was cool. Toni Elias is so close to figuring out how to stay fast all the way through a race, it was good to see him riding in the front of the pack. From all the chaos in race two it gave the second groups, Laferty, Haslam, Elias, and a few more a place up at the front with the big boyz, if not for a short while anyway.
The races just keep getting better with the kid now his own man and its like the guys weekend instead father and son.
A great time had and too much sun on top of my ears.
damn dribble you shoulda told me you were there!

I don't think it would take liquor - he'd probably do it on a dare.

They shut down canary row to bike night on saturday night and every form of two wheeled transportation is on display, okay many forms not every form. Digger and I arrived in time to go to a used record store and check out all the warped and scratched antiquities. I found a copy of Be Bop Deluxe Live in the Air Age and scored it for the digmeister. He's a blossoming hipster and I remember it being some pretty good musicianship. A day at the races and a night at the opera. We needed one more twelve pack and so we stopped at the store and Dig came back out with a twelver of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Man does that beer suck.
Every young and not so young smoker of the weed is medicaled, this in turn means that I am sampling some of the finest herb on the planet. The stuff is just over the top period. It aught to be illegal
I'm shooting for the Sacramento Mile or the Calistoga half mile as my next race adventure.
