Wow what a race!!! So great to see Rossi leading the race for 3/4 of it and keeping Marquez honest. Dani well up for it too and pushing so hard he clipped Marquez rear. I'd loved to have seen Rossi win this but wasn't to be and Marquez now on 7 in a row. Not sure wth is happening with Lorenzo?? Tried to break away and just couldn't. I'm not sure if Marquez has got into his head but for me it can't just be the new tyres as the other guys are dealing with it. Parc ferme after was awesome! These guys fooking love close racing and Rossi and Marquez were brilliant This is what MotoGP is all about for me

We watched it i lunch hour at Rockingham today. Not sure watching MotoGP and then jumping straight on a bike and heading out on track is such a great idea Managed not to chuck it down the tarmac though and the dream of elbow down escapes me again
Rossi's interaction with Marc is quite interesting. You wouldn't have seen that in the days when he was a genuine title hunter.

That track does serve up some great races, I've been to loads of GPs there and can only remember one stinker - the year half the field ended up in the gravel at turn one.

I had access to tickets this weekend but ended up with a work commitment so no Spanish weekend for me.

I agree about the rossi marquez relation, Rossi now is OK, maybe really happy after the lousy years in Ducati lol, about being second and fighting for the 1st.

A few years ago he wasn't. This makes good racing

Comrades: Even Mrs jmann has sat down with me and watched the last two races. Afterwards words to the effect of "that was so exciting", "they touched tyres" ...
I've always felt that Valentino is a terrific ambassador for MotoGp. That frame of him trying to strangle Marques says it all - "I love this but what do I have to do to stop this kid". As Valentino has said Marques reminds him of himself. With the benefit of age I think he's developed the ability to be generous - he's been there done that, he doesn't need to prove himself. It's just that when the flag falls he's still got that old competitive spirit.

Nice to see Dani up there - so often the bridesmaid

Jorge wouldn't have been happy - he still finds it hard to be generous (despite being a great rider).

Hard not to love Rossi isnt it. Great rider, great ambassador for Yamaha and the sport overall. What's Aleix got to do to get on a top bike for chrissakes?
The Yamaha clearly has speed and acceleration problems versus the Honda... You see this at the end of the pit lane strait where the Yam couldn't floow the Honda, even with the aspiration...
