Those dudes have stones and mad skills. I see Tracy (a stuntman by profession), his brother Gary, Carlin Dunne (a real madman on a downhill mountain bike also), and Alexander Smith (son of Malcolm) at the track pretty regularly on those crazy 'stradas. Good people too. Never a dull moment when trying to stay on these guys' wheels. Tracy rides that thing in a way like an SM at double speed. Foot out, tail hanging waaaaaay out - at a buck-twenty+. It's always a good show.
Got to love that twin sound...

Carlin knows the MS1200 like no one else I've ever met. I like that bike a lot, but with my stubby legs and the bike's wide and tall stance, it would only be a matter of time until I splatted it at a stop. And a tip over on a MS is about a $1500 bill. Other dealers I spoke to said there was no way to drop the ride height.

I went to Santa Barbara Ducati and told Carlin my concerns. He said, eh, no problem. Within in 5 minutes he had me flat footing (both feet) a MS1200S just by changing the seat and messing with the electronic suspension set up. The dude knows his stuff. Now I just have to talk my wife into it.
