I love that, just as I love the Ducati powered Vyrus bikes.
If I won a shit load of money I'd have the 1098 powered one, a naked track bike from heaven / hell.
The hub steering concept is handicapped by the fact that you're on your own. Everyone and his dog is running regular forks and there is masses of experience with them. Rocket Rons 500 GP bike went well; they had problems with ground clearence on the hub and changed it over to the left hand side - because the gp tracks had less left handers.
This is exactly what I'd hoped would pop up in moto2, a interesting and non standard concept.
