I just got this letter from KTM because i wanted to fit the akrapovic Evo race system to my bike :


Hi Peter.

If you put an EVO1 system on your 1290 SD-R you have on engine damages 30 days (warranty).

This is an advanced system made for racing.

in the us it doesnt void your warranty

you can use anything from the power parts
catalogue and warrant is still good

If they sell it then they should warranty it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That exhaust is in the KTM parts book...They try to get out of everything...
