Ok, so I know that this is technically in the wrong section but that's the way I roll.....I'm a loose cannon.....a maverick some might say!

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that as of Wednesday 17th September I will not be in the office until the beginning of October as I'm off to do the EnduroHimalaya trip.

Any quotes or insurance enquiries, can you email Bikesure's Underwriting Manager at [email protected]. I'll let you know when normal services resumes.

Cheers,

Phil

Phil once again came up trumps and saved 'Millar' from KTM forum £350 on his multi bike multi rider policy.

Nice work.

Thanks for clarifying that, Phil. This means that the SDR is still in the race. If that quote for the SDR would have been correct, I would have dropped it out of the race as I don't want to pay that much for the privilege of a harder seat.

When it comes to my NCBs, I don't know for sure, but Swinton (current insurer)/AXA (undrerwriter) has got a leaflet in my insurance pack that says they'll drop it down "from anything over 5" to 4, and previous to this I had 6 years NCB. There's no personal injury or third party costs involved, just the bike (lucky me!). But we'll see, when I get the "sentence".

Thanks again, SRD is back in the race! Will get back to you closer to the time of a possible purchase.

Hey there Phil,

Just wondering if you could shed a bit light on something that just occurred to me.
I previously had two bikes insured with (I better not mention) which means I'll have 5 years no claims on one and 2 years on the other, if I was to insure my SD, when I finally get one, with you would I be able to combine both lots of no claims together giving me 7 years no claims bonus in all?

P.S. Why do the Excess amounts cost so much with insurance companies for the Super Duke?
