05 model pipe compatibility

Hi guys, sorry for what could be a dumb question, but i'm a little confused

I'm looking at getting a pair of pipes for my '05 SD, yet the sellers site says that the pipes are only suitable for '06 thru '09.

From reading up on this site I thought '05 and '06 were more or less identical?

Anyone know if these cans will fit, or what the issue is?

KTM headers Fit all models

(Full system Akrapovics fit all models....but use completely different headers and rear pipes)
