'08 SDR OE Alarm.........

.......has started to emit one flat beep after the two arming beeps as if alarm has been triggered - alarm LED flashes rapidly as normal during the 26 second "entry phase" and not giving the 1 - 4 flashes code for the alarm trigger causes - rearming the alarm does not stop additional flat beep as it should if the alarm had been triggered - is this the first sign of a failing alarm?

Does it have a back-up battery? If it does, then it might need changing

It's a KTM badged Gemel copy/version of an old Meta alarm apparently and I'm told, yes, the flat beep is a warning that it's dying - no obvious sign of a replaceable battery.

Anyone with a track only bike looking to sell their OE alarm?
