The release lever/cable/catch unit has just failed - anyone know if I can get access to the catch unit by removing the rear light and can the rear light be lifted away with the seat panel in situ by just removing the two domeheaded torx bolts to the underside of the seat panel? No access to a SDR parts fiche at the moment so unsure about the rear light/seat panel assembly and reluctant to drill an access hole in the top of the seat panel............................

#3Cheers - guess I could try a spring hook or bent coat hanger - failing that, I'll send a small child in there.
