1290 990 front wheel compatability

Hi,

Looking at a damged 1290 atm can anyone tell me whether the front wheel and discs off a 990 sd will mount up on a 1290?

Not sure but I think it might be a stretch. Haven't got the 990 anymore for compare but disks and so might be different.
Definitively the 990 wheel doesn't have the parts for the ABS and TC so unless you make and adapt things it might be better to get a genuine or aftermarket wheel for it that fits.

A mate always checks out the auctions for repairable/damaged bikes and spotted it.
