I've done a search and can't find anything for the 1290. Had a G2 on my SMT, but I'm assuming this new system is not the same. I don't want to change the cam as the 1290 is incredibly smooth compared to the 990s. Anyone know anything about this? Where to get one? Part number and so on?

#2This might seem a stupid question: If you don't want change the way the throttle responds as function of rotation, why would you want to change the tube
The question is posed, in that there must be some reason you want to change the OE one.
The reason so many changed the tube and cam on the 990 was because they weren't satisfied with said throttle response; you and I both.
