2010 SDR cut out problems

im running in my SDR at the moment, and on a couple of occations in 250 miles, the engine has cut out and the oil light comes on, then it jsut starts again fine and the oil light goes off, just happend today mid corner, and it stood me up, luckily i wasnt going that fast, it doesnt happen all the time but it seems like a problem that could be very dangerous once i start to open her up. is this a common problem? or an easy fix, i was going to wait untill first service and bring it up then, but wanted to see what you guys have to say. cheers.

I had the same problem with my 07 SD. My suggestion would be to take it to the dealer specifically for that problem, since it has the potential get you injured or killed. The key here is documentation for the greater good of the motorcycling public.

While the bike is in warranty it's mechanical function rests solely on the shoulders of KTM, make them assume the responsibility that the law requires them to.
