2nd & 3rd gear.....

Sorry to go over old topics (blah blah blah), but is the 2nd & 3rd gear sensor / restriction / thingy relevant to all model SD's? I have a SD07 so is it worth me popping the ol' wires out?

Also, is there any problems with doing this in view of taking the bike back to a dealer for a service or would I need to put the pins back in?

I've searched the forum so know how to do it (???) just need to know if it needs doing in the first place. The guy at the dealers said the sensor doesn't exist???

someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but i think if you have Akras/map then you don't need to. You running stock cans ?

I'm still on stocks at the moment. I didn't know if this applied to all SD's or the earlier / later model.
