520 chain/sprocket conversion?

X-ring chain cause more drag, not less. Racers use the 520 non x-ring for weight and friction savings, but as racers would change the chain regularly. If you don't mind changing the chain and sprockets at increased intervals, for the sake of about 1 hp that you probably can't feel, then go ahead, but the 525 is probably at the far end of its capabilities allready if you have the full system/DNA filter/PC3 combo. Going for a 530 conversion would be more sensible, it's heavier, but would last a lot longer. Have you ever seen the destruction left by a chain snapping at speed? Not nice, bye bye crankcases
does the V-Twin cos more chain wear than a in line?? I want a durable chain first.
