Advanced Precicion Machine [Randy] 1-888-347-7262 in Oragon has made a couple dozen 16 and 17 tooth 520 counter shaft sprokets for SD owners.Randy's shop make's counters for the large sprocket companies in America, who were not interested in the project,But were kind enough to share his phone #.
PMP sprockets [Barry] 1-888-668-6432 Texas will make a 520 alloy rear in your choice of color and teeth, order several.PMP as well should have a handfull of this first run of counters to help with oversea orders.
Be sure to use only the very best quality chain,, DID evro3 ,EK gran prix, ect. Avoid Tsubaki their crap!
As with any modification,keep an eye on it. Reloctite the cush drive/sproket bolts.
We lost over 27.5 oz. in rotational/unsprung weight.

i'll wait and see the wear on the (stock) chain/sprockets, as much as i'd love to go 520, i've seen 525 break on ZX9, and 525 on a blade lasted a season (~8-10 000 Km) before being streached to shit. extra work/money/risk of brakage might not be worth it. but then again, all depends on how/where/how much you ride etc. if 530 shows little wear, i'll gladly do 525. it's not a huge expense, and if you see that it got stretched way too soon, just go back to 530...
