Has anyone had a go at installing one?

My winter nights are being filled with some serious modification/customization of my SDR.
Yes, I'm bored.
If I'm not mistaken, someone tried, but it didn't fit. Not 100% sure tough.
What mod's are you doing/ have you done?
Post some pics I'm bored
Having a custom tail unit fabricated (much shorter than original)
Custom paint job
Custom pipes - considering underling
Tank - speaking to a shop in Chicago about an ally tank. Similar shape but now as high, and with deeper cuts for the legs.

Not looking to alter the DNA, so keeping true the angles and hard lines but refining several things I think can be improved.

Right at the beginning of the job and am starting to strip the bike down this weekend.
I'll post pictures as I go.
Intriguing.
PVM will make a 6" for you that fits fine using the standard carrier or you can go for theirs.
Cool, I'll check them out. I ask because I found this site with an option for a 6" Marchesini forged rear wheel:
Send em an email and if they guarantee it you are Scott free!
A guy on this site got a set of RC8's to fit with a lot of machining but the rear carrier was still 1.5mm out.
I'd be very interested to see if these fit or not...
I did a search and they are an rc8 rear. Fired them an email to see if they guarantee the fit or not aswell.
Awesome - so did I. Was thinking of calling on Monday too.
