hi there , am having trouble with the clutch slave cylinder which appears to be leaking fluid, have purchased the outer part ,but now I have taken it off it is in two parts , does any body know if it's more likely to be the first part of the cylinder or the part it goes in to , as its a another £40 I thought I would ask , it also makes a slight noise when the clutch is pulled in like its a leaking noise or is this normal , engine not running when I do this , thanks

#2In my idea, it would be better just to replace the whole salve assembly. Yes it will be more expensive, but will last longer and no head ache.

#3I know it sounds expensive but do yourself a favour and get an aftermarket one like Oberon or so.
All issues solved after that, I like to fix things once good.
Plenty of posts already on this do a search on clutch slave or so.
