990 R Tail Tidy fitted !

Used original winkers with a little fettling...moved the led numberplate light upwards...and only room for a small plate now...so no good if you get pulled for the crime of the Century ...{ smaller plate than some desk muppet decides is legal }
Bought it direct from R& G website...after calling them and being told you can't order one over the phone ...only from a dealer...but you can order on online from their site if you create an account ...they love to complicate things eh ...
I have fitted a lot of tail tidies to mates bikes...this is not the most impressive one I ve seen...one of the spacers was missing and Im promised one in the post ...all electrics supplied are good...just the metal work is a bit basic compated to say an EvoTech off the Bay...

I am with Doc - looks good but the indicators are a bit large for that spot...

They look good on the front of superDuke220's ride...

I know what you mean about the winkers...they do look a little out of place...it aint no 916 and thats for sure ! ...but what else can you do ? ...the Eurocrats make the rules on bloody rear mudguards and the designers are tied to them...anyone comes up with somethink better please let me know....
The system ? ...I fitted it without riding it much so can't comment on performance...but the bike felt much lighter...and the standard cat box back is amazingly heavy...Akkra map loaded...just too loud for me without baffles...sorry
And the plate ?...I would rather have the slightly larger one on to avoid the Bronze with nothing more important to "police" but again not a lot of option...Stick in there lads...more mods to follow [img][img]http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r122/moriwaki1105/Aug2007006.jpg[/img][/img]

Not much gets by me! Got to say, I love all your bikes, the older ones in particular. Specials building is one of my loves, just wish I had more time/money (like you) to do more. The Honda's nearly finished BTW.
