checked the connections at the battery... all snug.....

check the starter ground as well... are the lights dimming when the starter is trying to turn over? it's possible that the battery is done, if you have a voltmeter, check the voltage, also check the voltage when the bike is running to see what juice the bat is getting from charging sys.
Since the bike is on warranty, why not let the dealer worry obout it? even if it is the bat, they should replace it for free.
