#3I use one on my 1290.
I bought it 10 years ago for my K5 GSXR1000 and I have used it on most of my bikes since then.
All I had to do was buy the 1290 adaptors from Abba.
It works great and gives you access to remove both wheels and does'nt get in the way.
I recommend it
