Using the standard gear level- rearset hardware, I see that the adjustable linkage rod is bent, only worked out now this is so you adjust it so it is indented close to the bike side so itclears the actual gear lever better.
I can't seem to adjust so the gear level is angled lower- i.e. I am at the max. extension of the rod adjustment and I still have to almost take my foot off the peg to push the lever down a gear. Any advice would be welcome.
