advise needed

hi guys,recently bought an 07 SDR, and after reading quite a few posts I have decided to either remove the secondary flies or fit the motohooligan flies instead...having just taken the petrol tank off, removing the flies altogether looks a tricky job...all im looking to do is improve on the snatchy throttle . Has anyone fitted the motohooligan flies, and what difference did it do to the bike. What does removing the secondary flies entail....would the bike require a remap afterwards...any advise would be greatfully appreciated....cheers
