Akra Header Pipes--Purple & Blue?

It's me again. I have to admit I'm a tad paranoid about blowing another engine...Still, it seems odd to me that the front cylinder Akra titanium header pipe is darkish purple and blue yet the rear cylinder header pipe isn't. Please tell me what this all means, if anything.

Thanks.

temp variance very hot to very cold causes the discoloration, as i am sure you kow, the reason for the difference could be the font is getting better cooling following aheat cycle thus changing the color, the rear cools more slowly limiting the color change...

The color isn't anything t worry about as all four of the down pipes on my zx10r also blued after a series of track days... (hot to cold each session).

If yo are worried about exhaust temps through running rich / lean, then suggest get the bike to a dyno and have the exhaust gas analysed athough each pipe (at teh O2 semsor position)....

Elso its pretty normal... hope this helps...
Weird both front and rear headers have blued equally. The rear cyclinder header blues at the U turn and neither the front or rear don't blue for the first foot. A true work of art.
