Akros and fueling????

Hi

the bike will run fine with the Akra map downloaded by the dealer. But a PC with a custom map will be much better from a drivebility stand point. I am trying to sell my 06 with Akra and alarm, so I am curious to find out how much you paid for yours and how many miles on it?

Welcome first off

Power commanders have only very recently been released for the sd..... in fact one of the guys on here had his mapped as a guinee pig for dynojet here in the uk,so as its turned out its very unlikely your bike had a pc fitted...... the pipes are generally accepted to need at least the Akro map uploaded onto the bikes ecu by a ktm dealer,some dealers like mine say its not absolutly needed,others say its a must,i think for the free flowing silencers with the cat removed its a good idea to get the fuelling sorted either way....... if you look here http://www.superduke.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=988 there may be an upcoming discounted offer for superduke power commanders to the members on here

Then there is the proposed tuneboy edit software that may or may not happen,and a few other options also out there.......

P/X ed my 04 blade for the SD which was up for £6495 (at a dealer) with pipes/gel seat/carbon bits 06/06 done 1200 miles. Got 5k for the blade and £500 off the bike (after i argued that i was told it had a PC on it) +1yrs tax. Bike is MINT.
So thought i got an OK deal as i had to put only little cash (£1000) to change for a newer bike + i took off all my extras off the blade which i can sell on e bay.
Someone might tell me otherwise????...Infact if someone got a better deal dont bother letting me know!!!

If someone on here told you that was a crap deal......... you would soon forget about it as soon as you get out on the bike

Im more than happy with my purchse and Rekon i got a good deal!
Cant wait to remove those baffles and go start frightning some unknowing pedestrians!!
