Mine are set so that when viewed from the side the uprights are vertical. Seems about spot on to me.

I adjusted my bars forward a little bit after almost a year with the bike and it is much more comfortable for me. Now I just need to get some rearsets and drop the peg just a little bit. I'm 6'5 and I fit perfect almost so I'm happy!

collyer I agree with you. I replces my bars with the orange nerken ones and they are a little wider and are straighter so you are pulled forward. The first time out god they where uncomfotable, but rotated them round and are now perfect.

Def makes me more aggresive on the bike and look great.

Mine are at 1.5.

For those who don't know... There's a small indent at the centre bottom of the handlebar clamps that line up with marks on the bars.

I don't like em further forward... or further back...

Hate to say it,,,,, mine hit the tank at full co*k, this has been a sticking point for me and the pumpkin, since the start, I like her bars low and forward but this won't work.

so it is low and back till the bars hit the tank, and to raise them or to go forward is out of the question. I like clip-ons, the heli bar type, or comfy.

It is hard for me to come to terms with dirt bike or standard bike bars. this problem is way mo betta for me since the new CX bars, but still is a hindrance and still hit the tank.

(throttle cable housing and horn button) made a mark in the tank when goin down.

Joe.... adjust the steering stops. Just so you don't mark your tank...
