After seeing DrF's I got a Shockshield too. It keeps the crap well and truly off. Neoprene isn't waterproof though so you might want to take it off after a good soaking of salty grime.

I have extended my chaingaurd with some angle aluminium. I added about 3" whicjh seems to be about right and keeps the shite off the Akras and my leathers.

Got my Skidmarx hugger on today, looks like it should make a big difference to the shite on the shox, also chainguard covers right over the sprocket so hopefully the chain lube wont end up all over the Arkas any more !

I want to add to this thread, that the hugger really does not fit the swingarm top that well, it seems to need some type of angled shims to make it right so this is all contingent to your skills as an engineer, I have been afraid to mount the bellypan thus far, If anyone gets the hugger and you mount this per to instructions (shitty at best) be sure to use green locktight on it cos otherwise the screws will fall out.

I had the first one aparentley ,hugger that is that they made , I took it back becose( I was not happy abowt the fit ) to them at the NEC , they were very good abowt it ,and I chopped it for a CF ,one I will see what this fits like .

I got a CF one too. I have to say the fit is not perfect, but I think it's acceptable and it looks great (just don't look too closely).

It's certainly better than the crappy stock parts!!!

Here's some before and after shots......
