Broken Rim

Hi Guys,

In the German KTM forum somebody had an accident due to a suddenly broken front rim.
Has anybody experienced such a case?

The guy bought the Superduke new, had never done stunts etc.

Looks like a material failure......

First time I've heard of anything like this.

I've recently bought a used set of wheels, the front of which has a slight flat spot, but as far as I can tell they are fine to use !!
