Lighter wheels make a lot of difference to a bike.
Agreed.
Friend of mine just custom installed BST's on his SD, total savings was 6.5lbs front and 7lbs rear.
He also switched to a pirelli diablo supercorsa tyre, which may be lighter than the oe 208RR's, but regardless, thats nearly 14lbs of the most important weight you can take off the bike.
The dymag carbons are heavier, especially the rear, but they are overbuilt and wickedly strong.
